KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique on Wednesday accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan of being the nation’s enemy.
“Imran is the nation’s enemy,” Rafique lashed out against the PTI leader on Twitter. “He is a proponent of chaos for his political gains.”
The PML-N leader also accused Imran’s followers of being directly or indirectly involved in every sit-in staged in the country.
“Those who want to create misunderstandings between state institutions and the elected government are the nation’s enemies,” he tweeted. “[And] Imran’s role in these schemes is central.”
The railways minister further said that Imran has openly advocated religious fundamentalism to come to power.
“The scheme to divide Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) followers will be unsuccessful,” Rafique tweeted.
