QUETTA: Security forces late on Monday conducted an operation in Turbat, recovering at least 18 people, including 16 foreigners who were being sent illegally to Europe.
According to security forces sources, 15 of the recovered foreigners belonged to Nigeria, while one hailed from Yemen.
The foreigners sought to illegally travel to Europe, the source added.
Security forces also arrested two armed suspects during the operation and recovered weapons.
Earlier, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested an alleged human smuggler from Gujrat in connection with the Turbat massacre of twenty people.
