KIEV: At least one person was killed and three others wounded when an explosion rocked Ukraine’s capital city Wednesday night, an official at the country’s interior ministry said.

Ihor Mosiychuk — a Ukrainian lawmaker — was among those injured in the blast, Reuters reported citing the official’s social media post.

“Unfortunately, one [of the wounded people] succumbed to his injuries. He was a 30-year-old man,” the Advisor to the Minister for Internal Affairs said on his Facebook page.
