PM chairs cabinet session to discuss 13-point agenda | Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Federal cabinet meeting, which is being chaired by Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, is currently under way in Islamabad.

PM took the cabinet in confidence regarding his visit to US and United Nations. He remarked that he presented Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir issue among others loud and clear to the United Nations.

According to sources, secretary power division briefed the cabinet regarding the demand of electricity in the country. The secretary informed that current government produced additional 6,107 megawatts from 2013 to 2017.

The meeting was also told that all the development projects will be completed soon. The new projects are focusing on producing electricity through hydropower solar power and LNG.

The session also reviewed 13-point agenda. Issues’ pertaining to country’s political and development projects were reviewed in the meeting, sources informed Geo News.

The cabinet is expected to confirm holding competitive exams for people with disabilities and bringing 5G network to Pakistan
